About

My name is “Tiddy Hunter”, creator of the Tiddy Hunter channel and the Libertad Research Archive.

What began as a personal interest in silver during the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis gradually evolved into a deeper fascination with monetary systems, inflation, market structure, and eventually the world of Mexican Libertads and modern numismatics.

Over time, I became increasingly drawn to areas of the market where historical context, scarcity, and data were often poorly documented or overlooked entirely. That interest ultimately led me toward researching Libertads, particularly low-mintage and underappreciated modern Mexican issues.

Unlike many modern bullion programs, the Libertad series developed a unique combination of:

As I spent more time studying the series, I realized that many aspects of the market lacked centralized research, particularly regarding:

This archive was created to help document and preserve that information.

Research Philosophy

The goal of this site is not hype or short-term speculation.

Many of the charts, population reports, survival estimates, and market studies presented here are built from independently gathered data, including ongoing tracking of NGC and PCGS population changes.

Where possible, I try to prioritize transparency, context, and evidence over sensationalism.

Long-Term Goal

The long-term objective is to build a living research archive dedicated to Libertads, modern Mexican numismatics, and broader precious metals analysis.

In an era where online information is increasingly fragmented and temporary, I believe there is value in building something archival, searchable, and continuously refined over time.
